I just switched to Twhirl this week and I’m also having a good time with it.

About your suggestions, after dabbling in the Twitter API, I think the reason Twhirl doesn’t include # of followers and # of following is because those user info queries are capped at 80 per hour right now, so you’d hit the cap pretty fast without scraping.

Great post. I just downloaded twirl last night after trying so many others that didn’t work out for me. Love Twirl too. Best yet in my estimation.
