Congratulations on the move – I have to say that’s similar to my own “plan” – I’ve been looking at moving out west to a tech hub for quite some time (and have been fortunate to land a gig at a place that has projects I can be passionate about, but still not quite the ideal situation).

Can’t say work’s gonna be the same without you. It’s been great getting to know you over the past year, and have to say I’m very thankful I had the opportunity to work with you. I really appreciate your openness to help out, and explain even the most minute details… especially in some very tedious situations. I attribute a majority of my “growth” over this past year primarily to your aide… so you’d better not turn off gTalk when you move out there.
